Thanks for your hard work
Dear Sir, I came across your website by chance. I'm not a practicing Sikh meaning I haven't taken amrit but I am still interested in learning as much about SGGS ji as possible. My goal was to learn by heart the Japji sahib. With the line by line description in English I find it very easy to follow as my punjabi is not fantastic. I can read punjabi so I sometimes have to cross reference with a different website to just make sure i pronounce words correctly. That's the only thing I would say could be improved. Don't get me wrong I have seen other sites and this is by far the best for me. Thanks so much. May Waheguru bless you for your effort. S.Jassal. Submitted By: S.Jassal

Definition of Bani
Dear Agia Pal Kaur, Bani means, "the words uttered by the Guru." All the verses in the Guru Granth Sahib are called "Bani". Cher Copain Agia Kaur, Les moyens de Bani, "les mots prononcés par le Gourou." On appelle tous les vers dans le Monsieur de Gourou Granth "Bani". -Raj Singh Submitted By: Raj Singh Marwah

Very good initiative
Dear Friend, This is a wonderful initiative that you have taken. And best of all it is based on Prof Sahib Singh's explanations. One suggestion: would it be even better if the first line is actually in Gurmukhi script (ie a total of 4 lines: Gurmukhi, English transliteration, description, definitions) Just a thought. Thanks and Regards, Aman Submitted By: Aman Singh
